Exforge contains a fixed combination of Amlodipine 10 mg (a calcium channel blocker) and Valsartan 160 mg (an angiotensin II receptor blocker). It is prescribed for the treatment of essential hypertension to effectively lower blood pressure when monotherapy is insufficient. Each pack contains 14 film-coated tablets manufactured by Novartis.
